Skillmans History
A Little History...
Skillmans was founded in 1908 and has been a staple in the Bemus Point, NY community for over 100 years.
The store has been in the Skillman family for four generations. It was originally a general store, carrying almost anything you could imagine.
At one point, Skillmans sold everything from aspirin to Airstream Trailers making the motto for many years: “If we don’t have it, you don’t need it!”
Modern Day Changes
The charm and history of our historic building provides a great setting for the fourth generation of Skillmans to showcase our specialty collections of artisan jewelry, fine quality apparel and footwear, gourmet food and home décor.
We pride ourselves on consistently offering our customers new designers, artists, and trends from our travels.
